The Legion of Blog offers up some interesting sandwich ideas to commemorate the Canucks — and just in time for the NHL playoffs.

The Higgins: Chicken salad made with Chipotle mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, on whole wheat bread. For $2.00 extra you can get it “Extreme” which means the Chipotle mayonnaise has been left in the sun for most of the day.

The Ryan Kesler: Lean cuts of turkey, egg white, shredded lettuce and protein powder whizzed up in a blender and served open shirt faced.  

The Cory Schneider: Thick slabs of honey baked ham, swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes on a warm hoagie roll. Our most popular sandwich, but it’s only here for a limited time.

The Sedin Brothers: A harmonious mix of Swedish lunch meats, grilled vegetables and exotic cheeses. Although it’s a meal in itself you can pair it with one of our new side dishes. Unsure which one to pick? It doesn’t matter; they all taste good when paired with the Sedins.

The Kevin Bieksa: An all beef, kosher hot dog that for some reason doesn’t taste as good when you eat it here, but it’s amazing when you get it for takeout.

Woman won’t face charges for hitting Canucks fan at the Shark Tank

Prosecutors will not be filing charges against a Sharks fan alleged to have hit former B.C. teen Maggie Herger, which gave her a slight concussion, at a game six weeks ago, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

Herger is taking it all in stride thanks to the Canucks who sent her team memorabilia, including a handwritten letter from Ryan Kesler himself.

Maggie is “over the moon” because her favorite Canucks player, Ryan Kesler — whose jersey she wore to the game — wrote her a letter recently with a signed picture and other team memorabilia.

He’s baaaaccccccckkkkkkk.

Goalie Cory Schneider may have grabbed all the attention, but Ryan Kesler provided the glue for the Canucks to overpower Columbus.
