Mounties from the Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, and UBC detachments, as well as officers from the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team and the gang-fighting Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit came together to talk about being openly gay while in the RCMP.



In footage released Monday by the Vancouver Police Department, members of the Integrated Riot Investigation Team can be seen apprehending suspected rioters, months after the Stanley Cup riot.

A total of 163 charges have been recommended to Crown counsel against 60 suspects.

Both Vancouver police and RCMP served as critics’ targets outside the Missing Women Commission of Inquiry on Oct. 12.
